Unroll.me Offers Inbox Organization

Unroll.me is a company and product aimed at helping users organize their email inboxes for greater efficiency. By providing the service of diverting extraneous emails to a second location Unroll.me seeks to maximize time for its clients through streamlining their email messages.

By taking email sources deemed non-essential and preventing them from being seen during the course of a client’s day Unroll.me provides freedom from distraction and time-wasting sorting of inboxes. Sources they divert are stored and accessible through their website. The client has the option to choose when in a day they receive a link to the day’s diverted mail in the form of a Rollup, a single message linking to the cached mail of the day. The client can access this Rollup any time they choose.

The Rollup can also be edited and manage email in a variety of ways. Message sources can be changed at any time, being followed, unfollowed and re-prioritized at the client’s will. Messages can be deleted, muted, cached or moved to the client’s own email inbox. This allows for flexibility in when and how the client gets their messages.

Unroll.me is compatible with every internet browser on the market. It works with most email service providers such as Yahoo and Gmail, but is not yet compatible with AOL. Unroll.me says this will be addressed in the near future and their service will be available on all email networks.

Offering their service for free makes Unroll.me competitive among email inbox sorting services. They lack the features of some paid services, but the free price makes up for its shortcomings.

Once a client signs up on the Unroll.me website their email account(s) are automatically scanned by the site and their inbox sources are sorted into priority and nonessential lists. The client can edit this list at will and once it is set in motion then the messages coming in to their email accounts will begin being diverted as instructed. Then the process continues with the client in control of their settings as described above. Unroll.me has a simple interface that anyone can use effectively.
